Unbelievable!!!  Our 50th is a year from tomorrow!!!

Due to multiple requests at previous reunions, the general consensus was to “do the 50th big”.  So that is what we are doing.  We have secured The Riverview in Weatogue for the Saturday evening dinner and Hopmeadow Country Club for Sunday brunch. Due to the ever-rising costs, popular time of the year for weddings, and finding a venue to accommodate our needs, this is what worked best.  This is where we need your help.  The cost to attend the events can be reduced for everyone based on a successful fundraiser.  We need everyone to make a donation- no matter what size, $5.00 to whatever works for you.  Once we have the final amount, we will announce the total cost per person, per event.

Every dollar donated reduces the cost of the ticket for everyone to attend.

Please submit your generous donation as soon as possible.  Our kitty right now is over $7000, which is fantastic, but we have a long way to go. Let’s open our hearts and our wallets so that everyone who wants to, can attend.

Historically, we've done everything we can to keep our reunion costs as low as possible.  In the past, the most we've charged is $35.00 per person.  But this time, because we're doing something special, this reunion will be pricier than any other we've enjoyed.  We're celebrating in the middle of wedding season, and after months of searching various venues, we chose the Riverview for our special event.  Any nice venue with great food and the capacity to hold a large crowd will cost significantly more for this once-in-a-lifetime event.  We want to make it possible for everyone to attend, so we'll be conducting a fundraiser through our website.  The actual price of the tickets for the dinner and the brunch will be based on the generosity of our classmates - the goal is to raise enough through fundraising that the tickets are free for all attendees.  In the meantime, there are 15 months to go, so putting $10 aside per month will give each attendee $150 toward the main event.
